COG was founded in 2020. The French brand was founded by Camara Omar Gwenhaël, which is also what the acronym COG stands for.
Eco-friendly: COG uses innovative materials, like recycled cork, recycled rubber, recycled PET and material made from a combination of wine waste, recycled PET and PU.
Local & fair production: The items are made in small workshops in Portugal, celebrating craftmanship in good working conditions including fair wages and a safe working place.
Good cause: a part of their revenue is donated to L'Arche de Noé (an animal sanctuary) and €5 for each Topsy pair sold is given to Elephant Haven (an elephant sanctuary).
Vegan: COG's is committed to cruelty-free products. The shoes are made without using animal-derived materials and are PETA-approved.
