This shoulder bag consists of two compartments. The main compartment is accessible via a flap and can be secured with a zipper. The flap is equipped with a special FidLock® closure, an innovative click system that works with magnets and can be easily opened with one hand. This provides more convenience, security, and even saves time. The zipper of the main compartment extends all the way to the bottom of the bag, allowing you to fully open it to quickly access your items. Inside, there are additional storage pockets for items such as two pens, a phone, four cards, and there is a zippered storage pocket. You will also find a reinforced compartment suitable for a tablet, iPad, or small laptop. The main compartment is also large enough to carry your lunch, bottle, glasses, wallet, and even an extra jacket.

The second part consists of an extra reinforced compartment that closes with a zipper. This section is suitable for laptops up to 15 inches. The compartment is lined with foam material for extra protection.

The wide shoulder straps and the soft lining on the back ensure optimal carrying comfort, even during extended use. On the side of the bag, there is an additional zip pocket for even more storage options.

The 100% recycled Nylon has a refined texture with a slight sheen. The fabric feels soft and supple and is resistant to rain and wear. The leather parts are made from high-quality Wax Pull Up leather, characterized by its soft and supple structure. Any signs of use can easily be rubbed away due to the special wax treatment that the bag has undergone. The Nylon-Leather combination provides a luxurious, yet sporty appearance. The Chesterfield Brand werd 10 jaar geleden opgericht en is een familiebedrijf on steroids (neem vooral een kijkje op hun heerlijke teampagina waar Ajax én Feyenoord rustig samenkomen!). Het team heeft een enorme passie voor leer en wil bewijzen dat het ook anders kan en dat iedereen positief kan profiteren van betere arbeids- en leefomstandigheden in de modeindustrie. 

Eerlijke handel: The Chesterfield Brand werkt intensief samen met de Indiaase fabrieken waar de leren producten gemaakt worden. Ze hebben langdurige samenwerkingen (al meer dan 10 jaar!) en bezoeken de fabrieken meerdere keren per jaar zelf. Daarnaast hebben alle fabrieken een SEDEX of SA8000 certificaat.

Milieuvriendelijk: Hoewel ze er wel naar streven, wordt het leer dat The Chesterfield Brand gebruikt nog niet altijd natuurlijk gelooid. Een deel van het gebruikte leer wordt namelijk nog op de ouderwetse manier gelooid, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van chroom. 

Het merk richt zich op kwalitatieve tassen die lang mee gaan. Niet elke week een nieuwe collectie in de winkels, maar zo'n 80% basiscollectie. Op hun website vind je ook allerlei verzorgingsproducten en tips om je nieuwe favoriete tas zo lang mogelijk in goede staat te houden. 

Ook leuk? Het hoofdkantoor draait volledig op zonne-energie en het hele wagenpark bestaat uit hybride auto's!

Goed doel: Via The Chesterfield Brand Foundation ondersteunt het merk verschillende projecten in India; het idee is om op deze manier het merksucces nog meer te delen met lokale bevolking. De stichting werkt samen met Stichting Actie Calcutta en ze financieren op deze manier verschillende projecten waarmee ze zich willen inzetten voor de verbetering van werk-, leef- en onderwijsomstandigheden in het land.
