FragDenStaat.de is a German research platform that helps citizens to submit requests to authorities under the Freedom of Information Act (IFG) and make their answers publicly accessible. It gives citizens access to important information that would otherwise be difficult to obtain. For example, one user used FragDenStaat.de to request access to internal documents on pesticide authorisation in Germany. The published documents showed that some pesticides were authorised despite known environmental risks - which triggered a public debate about the protection of bees and the transparency of the agricultural lobby.

Eerlijk geproduceerd: in de werkplaats in Brandenburg, Duitsland wordt de kleding van Frija Omina gemaakt door een enthousiast team van lokale medewerkers. Ze werken met eerlijk en organic materiaal dat een GOTS of FairTrade certificaat heeft, of op zijn minst een Oeko-Tex 100 certificaat.

Milieuvriendelijk: Frija Omina werkt met biologisch katoen, biologisch katoen-jersey en gerecycled nylon. Ze verpakken de items plasticvrij en gebruiken hernieuwbare energie op de productielocatie.
